This course will be our main focus in 2026.

 

​Learn how to teach the new PSSR in the STCW Code Table A-VI/1-4Prevention of Violence and Harassment. The new module of the STCW Code, Table A-VI/1-4, focuses on violence and harassment at sea. As this is a new soft skill subject, BluePoint Scholastic has developed a Train the Trainer course for all educators and trainers in the maritime field. This course will prepare you to teach this new element as outlined in STCW.

 

This 4-day course will focus on the definitions set out in the STCW. As this part of the STCW is all about a mindset change, we will give you tools you can use when you are teaching this part of the PSSR, and have a discussion with your students about what causes violence and harassment at sea.
